A quick present for the staff at Ali's kindy. I had so much fun going through my fabrics, finding pairs to go together, and then used the Purl Bee non-crazy-making triangle tutorial* to make the squares, and filled them with sweet smelling organic lavender. I finished and wrapped these to give away today, but there are more sachets sewn together and just waiting to be filled when I buy some more lavender.

* This tutorial really is non-crazy making. I am the slackest patchworker ever. I don't own a rotary cutter. I mark measurements on the back of my fabric with a ruler and biro and then cut them out with scissors. I know, the horror. The oh-so-aloof ladies at my local patchwork shop would die. Anyway, I found this via Hannah and it really is a great way to do triangles. I might even attempt a triangle quilt like hers one day. Although I probably should buy a rotary cutter.
