Lovely ... you'll need to get a nice curlypops brooch to go on that, a red one!

You're right a red brooch would be perfect and the Curlypops ones are so pretty!

It looks great Suzy, I love the black check. I have heard that the Cynthia Rowley patterns are quite roomy. I'm trying to find patterns that go with the Mum uniform, almost everything I want to make is too dressy or corporate, I might have to get that pattern.

Lovely top, I like the twisted finish on the sleeves. Turns it from a plain giongham top into a something with character. Would definately look great with a bright brooch.

I have completely given up on making clothes for myself. I love this top though. Especially the twisted arms. Probably looks really cute on you :)

Kate

A great top - love gingham! Nice work with the binding - binding always scares me!

yes, know the mummy uniform well...sometimes I spice it up a bit with a long skirt but it's all about comfort and knowing you are going to get food/stuff on it!! great top and love the fabric, very japanese looking! well done!

I'm feeling inspired now that I've seen someone make this pattern up - I have it, and had been waiting for inspiration to strike. Would make my Mummy uniform look better at the school gate!

Sandra

I love your version of this pattern. I have made 4 variations of this top but hadn't even considered doing the arm twist style. Might have to whip up number 5 now!

kate

A fantastic top! Love the details on the sleeve
