Oooh - they are all so nice. Good choice though. (Thanks for your Paris advice, BTW, they all sound like great ideas too!)

I am having this issue too with all the ugly, neon flashing things in the shops. They are just aweful! Thanks for the links to the wooden gyms, I will definitely be checking them out

Here's hoping! I had to succumb to the awful monstrosity for B and was more than happy to pass them on when she grew out of it!

Vanessa

You are so right about the hideousness of those! I don't know if I would have bought one either if someone hadn't just given us on.

Selena

Nice choice Suzy, what a funky design! Look forward to seeing you later this month x

A nice selection of baby gyms, somehow the wooden ones are so much more appealing than the plastic ones. The wooden baby gym we used for our first son was a hand-me-down from my sister and he loved it. Now the gym is back in use again with my second son and once he has finished with it I will be passing it on again, no doubt!

I couldn't deal with the ugliness of the standard ones either, nor could I suck up the rather high price tag that was on the wooden ones I saw at the time (three years ago) so I hung the lad's toys from the clothes horse. He was pretty happy with it.

Ooh, that's a great idea. Easy to swap them around too!
There were no reasonably priced wooden ones 3 years ago, that's when I was looking too, and they were all $150+
