2012 was The Year Of Moving House. So much time was spent looking at houses, tidying our old house for sale, packing to move, and then unpacking and sorting out at the new house. I felt like there wasn't a whole lot of time for sewing or knitting or other making. But, looking back, there was a fair bit snuck in. Mostly dresses for Milla. And some clothes for me. And it felt good to finally tackle some long-unfinished sewing projects and complete them. I already have a list of things to work on for 2013, and can't wait to get started. Because of Christmas entertaining and finishing off the doll I haven't done as much dressmaking as I had hoped, so I've decided to give myself a two week extension on my Summer Stash Sewing, to the middle of January. I am hoping that next year I'll make a big dent in the fabric pile, sew lots of clothes for me and the children, and that the year will end with a new quilt on each bed.
Thank you so much for visiting here, and wishing you all a happy new year and a joyful 2013.
