While making a pattern for the second time isn't as exciting as trying something new, it's definitely quicker and safer too - I already know about any fit or construction issues. Since I made Milla's heart Hopscotch dress I've been meaning to make another with this blue polka dot interlock (Oliver + S for Moda, from the City Weekend line) that I've had sitting around for about a year. The first dress has had lots of wear, it's comfortable and the sleeve gives good sun coverage, so I knew another wouldn't be wasted.
So here you have it. Nothing exciting, but a good use of time and fabric. I'm glad I chose the contrast ribbing (from Remnant Warehouse) for the neck, to give a bit of interest. And I am still excited about the twin needle stitching.
